1971 - 74 Post-graduate diploma in Town Planning at Polytechnic of Central London (now University of Westminster)

1970 - 75 Fuller Hall and Foulsham - architects - Hamel Hempstead - Associate 1974

1975 - 91 Partner in John Manning Partnership - Luton

Main client was National Trust - Thames and Chiltern and was responsible for work on Greys Court including the donkey wheel, Shaws Corner including Curtain Wall (scheduled ancient monument), Willington Dovecote and Stables and Pitstone windmill (the oldest postmill in UK)

Extensive work on Southill Estate including Conservatory on main house (Grade 1) Temple (Grade 1) and Gaol House Barn (Grade 1) as well as numerous other listed buildings mainly houses and cottages.

Bedfordshire County Council - small works on schools and a fire station

Luton Central Mosque

1991 Set up as Sole practitioner at Dirnanean

2004 RIAS Certification in Sustainable Design - Class 1

Life Member of Society of Protection of Ancient Buildings and member of a number of other building conservation organisations - member of DIA Sole Practitioners Group

Member of RIAS Practice Services

 

I offer a wide variety of experience with great enthusiasm for even the smallest and most complex design problems to produce a solution of elegant design and fulfilling the client's brief. As a sole practitioner the project will be dealt with by me and not any assistant or junior.
